Kathmandu Valley / River Rafting / Chitwan National Park - 6 Days Day 01: Arrival and hotel transfer.
Afternoon (2 p. m.) Visit Bhaktapur Palace Square : main places of visit are Golden Gate; the Palace of Fifty Five Windows - a unique masterpiece of wood carving; Nyatapola Temple - the tallest pagoda temple with its massive structure and subtle workmanship. Day 03: Morning (7 a. m.) Depart for whitewater river rafting on Trisuli River. No prior experience is required for rafting adventure. Whitewater rapids, however, entertain exciting rafting trip. Picnic lunch is served at the sandy beach of the river. Proceed to Chitwan National Park (approx. 2 hrs. drive). It is one of the finest national parks in Asia and covers an area of 932 sq. km. with prolific wildlife. Day
04: Morning (8 a.m.) Take a canoe ride down the Rapti River and return
on foot through jungle. Day 05: Morning (6 a.m.) The guide escorts to the bird watching site where one can view more than 450 species of exotic birds. After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. It takes about 5 hours. Day 06: Morning (dawn) Free for optional tour of one-hour mountain flight over the Himalayan range including Mt. Everest (8,848 m.); return to hotel; and proceed to airport for return flight. For

02: Morning (9 a.m.) Visit Swayambhunath (the stupa believed to be
over 2,000 years old) - the most profound expression of Buddist symbolism
in Nepal and possibly in the world. Visit Kathmandu Palace Square including
nine - storey Basantapur Tower with outstading wood carving; Taleju Tempel
; Kasthamandap - built from the wood of a single tree; and Kumarichwok
- abode of living goddess, Kumari.
